More natives were planted on Sunset Cliffs to help deter runoff erosion and also demonstrate how beautiful native plants can survive and thrive in our area with very little water.
The Native Plant Society designed the layout and chose the plants, propagating them from seed in most cases.
The garden is located on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard at Adair Street, right at the entry of the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park.
Volunteers are always needed and encouraged to come to meetings of both the Native Plant Society and also the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park Council who continue to add to a large native plant garden started in the hillside section of the park near Ladera Street.

Dudleya edulis (Ladyfingers)
Isocoma menzeisii (Goldenbush (upright))
Leptosyne maritima (Sea Dahlia)
Lycium californicum (Coastal box-thorn)
